Gyratory Crusher common fault maintenance

In the process of use, the Gyratory Crusher often affects the production due to motor failure. The main fault phenomena are: 1. Fixed and rotor core fault repair; 2. Bearing fault repair; 3. Shaft fault repair.

1. Fixed and rotor core troubleshooting

Both the stator and the rotor are laminated by mutually insulated silicon steel sheets, which are the magnetic circuit portions of the motor. The damage and deformation of the stator core are mainly caused by the following reasons.

1 The Gyratory Crusher bearing is excessively worn or poorly assembled, causing the stator and rotor to rub, causing damage to the surface of the iron core, which in turn causes short circuit between the silicon steel sheets, and the iron loss of the motor increases, causing the temperature rise of the motor to be too high. At this time, use tools such as fine boring to remove the burr, eliminate the short-circuit of the silicon steel sheet, clean it, apply the insulating varnish, and heat and dry.

2 Excessive force is applied when removing the old winding, so that the stolen groove is skewed and flared outward. At this time, the tools such as needle-nosed pliers and wooden hammers are used to trim the teeth, and the hard insulating materials such as green paper and rubber wood are added between the cracked silicon steel sheets which are not well reset.

3 The surface of the core is corroded due to moisture and other reasons. At this point, it needs to be sanded and cleaned, and then coated with insulating varnish.

4 Around the group grounding produces high heat to burn the core or tooth. The deposit can be removed by a tool such as a chisel or a scraper, and dried with an insulating varnish.

5 The iron core and the base are loosely combined to tighten the original set screw. If the positioning screw fails, drill the positioning hole in the machine base and tap the wire to tighten the set screw.

2. Gyratory Crusher bearing troubleshooting

The moving crusher shaft is rotated by the bearing support, which is a heavy load part and a component that is easy to wear.

In-service inspection;

When the Gyratory Crusher’s rolling bearing lacks oil, it will hear the sound of “bone and bones”; if you hear the discontinuous “stalk”, it may be that the bearing steel ring is broken. When the bearing is mixed with sand or other debris or the bearing parts are slightly worn, slight noise is generated.

Check after disassembly;

First check the rolling mill body of the Gyratory Crusher, whether the inner and outer steel rings are damaged, rust, scars, etc., then hold the inner ring of the bearing by hand and flatten the bearing, and push the outer ring with the other hand. If the bearing is good. The outer steel ring should be rotated smoothly, without vibration and obvious stagnation during the rotation. After the rotation, the outer steel ring does not reverse. Otherwise the bearing is no longer usable. The left hand is stuck in the outer ring, and the right hand pinches the inner steel ring and pushes it in all directions. If it feels loose when pushed, it is severely worn.

2 fault repair

The rust spots on the outer surface of the Gyratory Crusher bearing can be erased with No. 00 sandpaper and then put into gasoline for cleaning; or if the bearing has cracks, the inner and outer rings are broken or the bearing is excessively worn, the new bearing should be replaced. When replacing a new bearing, use the same bearing as the original model.

3. Shaft troubleshooting

1 axis bending;

If the bending is not large, it can be repaired by polishing the journal and slip ring. If the bending is more than 0.2mm, the rotating shaft can be placed under the press, and the bending can be corrected at the bending point. The corrected shaft surface is cut by lathe. Polishing; if the bending is too large, a new shaft is required.

2 journal wear;

When the journal wear is not large, a layer of chrome can be plated on the journal and then ground to the required size. When there is more wear, it can be welded on the journal and then polished on the lathe; if the Gyratory Crusher When the journal wear is too large, it is also turned 2-3 mm on the journal, and then a sleeve is placed, which is placed on the journal and then turned to the required size.
